“I have stayed at Best Western in Pawleys Island, SC numerous times. I like the hotel, staff and amenities and rooms are clean. However, this time, I was supposed to stay for 2 days and the room was not as clean. I always check the rooms cleanliness especially around the bed and mattress. I was really not very happy to find that the platform bed near the headboard was really very dirty. It had not been cleaned in a while as it was very dusty. I felt very uncomfortable sleeping on the bed...

“There were no towels, washcloths or soap. Went to desk to get some. Only received 1 washcloths because she said they didn’t have any more. There was old blood on the blanket. There was a wad of corse black hair next to toilet. Noticed some dead bugs on counter. Neighbor had strong chemical smell in his room. Gap around entrance door. Dump!!!!!”

“No staff on site. You check in with a virtual agent. The bathroom was filthy. The sliding glass door track was so dirty, it couldn't even slide. Floors filthy. Do not stay here. The exterior is deceiving. Looks like it's all updated until you check in and go to your room.”
